Ventrx

Solution Provider

Ventrx delivers science-driven, asset-level analytics that help real asset owners, investors, and managers quantify and manage physical climate risks across global portfolios.

Our platform is built on physics-based catastrophe (CAT) models refined through machine learning, drawing on extensive peer-reviewed research in probabilistic hazard modelling, vulnerability engineering, and disaster risk science.

From Hazard Exposure to Financial Impact

We go beyond exposure screening by integrating over 7,000 asset-specific damage functions — accounting for building type and structural characteristics — to translate hazard into financial impact metrics including expected annual losses and scenario-based projections under multiple climate pathways. This supports quantification of increased capital expenditures, operating costs, revenue disruption, and insurance implications at asset and portfolio level.

Supporting Physical Climate Risk Assessment and Disclosure

We enable forward-looking scenario analysis across multiple climate scenarios and time horizons, aligned with TCFD and ISSB/IFRS S2 expectations. For GRESB participants, our outputs support evidence and data inputs for physical risk identification, impact assessment, and resilience of strategy indicators through granular, financially quantified assessments grounded in probabilistic science.

Why Ventrx

We bridge catastrophe modelling and the climate risk analytics needs of real asset investors — covering key acute and chronic hazards (tropical cyclone wind and surge; pluvial and fluvial flood; coastal flood; tornado; extreme heat) globally via high-resolution models that combine insurance-grade probabilistic rigour with forward-looking scenario analytics.

By translating complex hazard science into decision-relevant financial metrics, we help stakeholders move from risk awareness to informed action.
