The founding philosophy of the Taiwan ESG City Net-Zero Breakthrough Association is inspired by the spirit of the COP26 Breakthrough Agenda. Our mission is to provide integrated and creative ESG solutions that empower enterprises to achieve transformative breakthroughs in their ESG transitions. We support cities and governments in overcoming current limitations to move toward net-zero goals, ultimately joining the global effort to combat climate change and ensure sustainable development for future generations.

To accelerate the implementation of ESG practices across businesses, cities, and nations, association is dedicated to integrating and promoting one-stop, low-carbon, and smart ESG solutions and technical applications from both domestic and international sources. Our key initiatives include:

Environmental Impact & Carbon Finance: Integrating LEED standards with carbon credit development and trading to enhance environmental benefits and realize decarbonization targets.

Health & Wellbeing: Advocating for the WELL Building Standard to improve the health and quality of life for building occupants.

Real Estate Governance: Strengthening real estate governance through GRESB frameworks to assist enterprises in securing green financing and improving ESG performance.

The association actively encourages collaboration between industry, government, and academia. We are committed to building a platform for international communication rooted in mutual benefit and trust, facilitating ESG dialogues between national governments and global cities to co-create a more equitable, inclusive, and sustainable future.
