Emerald Built Environments is a sustainability consulting firm that helps project teams, organizations, and investors integrate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategies into the built environment. We work across the full project lifecycle, supporting clients as they plan, design, construct, and operate buildings and infrastructure.
We provide ESG strategy development, green building certification management, decarbonization planning, sustainability reporting, sustainable infrastructure guidance, and portfolio-level program support. We collaborate with clients to identify risks and opportunities, develop actionable sustainability roadmaps, and support the implementation of high-performance building solutions.
Our team brings interdisciplinary experience across engineering, architecture, environmental sciences, and business strategy, allowing us to work effectively with stakeholders in development, operations, and investment contexts. We take a collaborative, data-driven approach that helps clients align sustainability objectives with business priorities, operational realities, and long-term value creation.
We also support clients with sustainability program design, carbon accounting, certification management, and documentation for third-party reporting frameworks. Where relevant, we have supported clients preparing materials for GRESB Assessments through advisory and technical assistance services, without implying endorsement by or representation of GRESB.
