The Federation of Rental-housing Providers of Ontario (FRPO) is the largest association in Ontario representing those who own, manage, build, finance, service and supply residential rental homes. For over 35 years, FRPO has provided public advocacy, representation and promotion, industry research, standards and best practices, education and training along with marquee industry events and awards.
The Canadian CRB™ Program and its associated Living GREEN™ Together certification were developed by FRPO as an ESG focused certification specifically geared towards the multi-residential housing sector. The Canadian Certified Rental Buildings Program (CCRBP) promotes and denotes well-run, well-managed, well-maintained and sustainable rental housing. Since 2008, it has provided owners and property managers with a tangible way to differentiate themselves in the rental housing marketplace while equally providing consumers with a quality-assurance alternative they can count on. The CCRBP has now grown to become a national certification operating in multiple provinces across Canada.
