This indicator is used for reporting purposes only. For participants who submit the Performance Component, GRESB uses the portfolio composition reported in indicator R1 to determine the entity's predominant location and property type as shown in its final results, not indicator RC4.

Select the predominant location in which the entity’s investments are located and the predominant property type of the portfolio using the fraction of total GAV or net operating income (NOI).

  • An entity’s primary property type is based on the most specific category that accounts for at least 75% of its Gross Asset Value (GAV).

  • An entity's primary location is based on the most specific category that accounts for at least 60% of its GAV.
