In light of the growing concern and increased awareness around climate change, investors now require more information on how climate-related issues and policies are being addressed. The Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) was created in 2015 by the Financial Stability Board to develop a set of consistent guidelines and a reporting framework for companies to disclose climate-related financial risk.
With TCFD becoming increasingly relevant in Asia, GRESB will be hosting a webinar to provide an overview of the TCFD recommendations along with insights into the regulatory environment across the APAC market, including a deep dive into Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia, where TCFD-aligned disclosures will soon become mandatory. This session will also outline the benefits of the reporting framework provided.
